My primary domain of expertise is backend engineering, with several years of experience writing code in C and Go. I’ve done Linux network programming and GUI programming using GTK3 and have a deep understanding how Linux and common userspace libraries and services work.

Over the years, I’ve gained some other knowledge in systems operations and had the opportunity to use modern deployment methods using Docker and kubernetes and the Google Cloud platform.

There are some other languages I’m interested in, particularly Rust and Nim, but unfortunately haven’t had the chance to build anything in them, yet.

I’m still dealing with complex and scalable software, so software design and architecture is something I’m very aware of. Over the years, I’ve been mostly building high-available solutions that run on cloud infrastructure with monitoring and logging facilities.

In my spare time, I code a little and publish my work on GitHub.
